
The Danish was born from a transatlantic love story. One of us grew up in Denmark, where mornings mean warm kanelsnegle and proper coffee. The other grew up in the American South, where food means love and everyone’s welcome at the table. We couldn’t find real Danish pastries in Atlanta, so we decided to make them ourselves. This isn’t fusion food - this is the real thing, made with Danish butter, Danish techniques, and Southern hospitality.

We import butter from Denmark because "close enough" isn't close enough.

Our Copenhagen-trained bakers master centuries-old techniques because some things are worth doing the ridiculously meticulous way.

We don't apologize for our butter-heavy pastries, impossibly high standards, or thinking Danish baking is simply better.
